Pupils had a fantastic day today practising and competing in our Student Council arranged Rowathon. We will update parents with money raised in the next few days. All proceeds will go to Unicef in aid of Earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
Special thanks to Mr. Ciarán Brady for taking the lead in organising such an amazing event!
The Green Team won the relay event rowing 5417m, the Blue Team were runners up with 5223m and in third place was the Red Team with 5043m.
Overall between practising and the relay event, pupils in our school rowed for a combined total of 53,063m! An amazing achievement!
We are very proud of our pupils today as always!
